About Denison Cabral
Denison Cabral, one of the most popular players in the history of professional indoor soccer in Baltimore, Denison is entering his 5th years as the President and director of coaching of the Denison Cabral Futsal Academy, working with players from ages 4 to 19 boys and girl the DCFA is one of the powers in Futsal in the state of MD in the region and country.
Native from Florianopolis, Brazil Denison is a current professional Indoor player playing for the Baltimore Blast (NISL). Cabral, a six-time League All Star, is the all-time leading point scorer in Baltimore's franchise history with more than 920 points in Indoor Soccer carrier... He ranks 25th all-time in the history of indoor soccer in points.
In 2002-03 Season he won his first Championship and was named MVP of the 2003 Finals after leading the Blast with 14 points in the playoffs... Cabral earned 6 six All-Star honors and three Championships defending the Baltimore Blast franchise wearing the number 5 jersey.
Cabral began playing professional Futsal in Brazil at the age of 15 for S.E.R. Sadia and Palmeiras Futsal Clubs and ventured to the United States in 1994.
He became a U.S. citizen on May 11, 2007 and is now a member of the US FUTSAL NATIONAL TEAM, Cabral shares the experience and love for the game coaching and training over 120 kid's members of his Futsal Academy and he was the first coach in the State of MD and in the Region to take a team to the FUTSAL LAND (Brazil) a team to participate in a International Futsal tournament and a week of training.
